Ive been working on a children book (in flash its the only program that lets you create freely) im constantly trying to get published and noticed ive become a weirdo.

first of all i have to get up before 9 but i cant set an alarm, if i get up anytime after 9 i cant work, if im working up by an alarm i cant work, if i dont leave the house at 3:30 to get something to drink (regardless of anything to drink been in the fridge or if im thirsty) i cant work.

Its like theres a part of me that doesn't wont to work which is worrying because its taken me two years to pluck enough courage to approach publishers (fear of failing) please tell me theres someone out there that has this problem aswell.

Im going to start by using a fanboy phrase

I love the book, and have always enjoyed Richard matherson`s books.

and when i first found out that they were making another adaptation of the book, I wasnt best pleased.
It always seem whenever a director gets his hands and the storyline they feel they have to put there mark on it, And in doing so wreck the whole reason of making a film from it.

after watching a few of the trailers i saw potential, sure theres a sports car in stead of a shit heap wreck and i dont think theyll go into Roberts mural and constant searching for resources. and the anagram in his name loses its meaning in a film but it could work.

Will Smiths appearance as the lead came as a shock but it would be nice for him to have a film where there isnt someone to bounce fresh prince one-liners off of. and it isnt a role id excepted he would get. the whole premise doesnt fit into the generic will smith role.

So it could go either way. Hopefully smiths become so expected that you could just see though him and enjoy the plot. or he might shine though.

either way ill be seeing it just to see the comparison.

ever since i can remember ive wanted to make a children's book, Its a small dream i know not your normal rockstar of billionaire playboy fantasy, But its what i want.

growing up i would stare for hours at my books trying to notice every line and curve trying to submit them to memory, Ive always considered my drawings an imitation of something ive seen, never anything created under my own merits, within everything i created i would see the inspiration and theres a fine line between that and copying.

Ive never tried to accomplish my goal because (as the old saying goes) its easier never trying than to try and fail. And with this attitude ive gained myself a dead end lifestyle. I really must stress at this point that this is NOT a suicide note.

Felt it was getting a little last wordy there.

I get wild moments of inspiration, But its become inspiration without perspiration.

But Fuck it.

Its time for dreams to become reality, A time to throw of the doubts and for once work towards a goal.

And i ask everyone who takes the time to read this (Properly procrastinating from there tasks as i am doing) to do the same.

No-one got anywhere doing nothing. I have something I want to do it may be small and modest compared to other peoples aspirations but its something thats mine.

Whats yours?

Well I pride myself on the fact that I have been around Newgrounds for sometime now. I havent made so much as a ants anus print of impact to the site. But i do hold my pixel trophies close to my heart.

But while I have been using flash the only game I sort of made was a pacman clone featuring zelda, and even though that was taken (stole) around the net and its views are now in the millions (thanks Mochibot) but that was mostly just me fiddling with Paul Neave`s amazing creation.

But now i can say that ive built a game from the bottom up (mostly) i still give in sometimes and cannibalize some code. But i think ive done enough to hold my head up high, or except its damning reviews as my own.

So after a bit of bug checking and jazzing up. I hope you will enjoy. (its a escape the room game, with a plot that develops and also something a bit special from the rest)

should be on be the start of next month.
I get into the jazzing up, some sort of O.C.D takes over and im all about the details.

First (real) Game Nearly Done.
